The following post will tell you some methods to increase your internet speed.

I will show you some ways to increase your net and browser speed…..
Go to Start>>Run and then type in “gpedit.msc” without the quotes (“)

Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Network -> QoS Packet Scheduler.
after that, you should see something like “Limit Reservable Bandwidth”. Modify that and set it to “Disabled”, or you can put it to “Enabled” and change the value to 0.

Now this will increase your internet speed by 20%.

It enhances your internet speed irrespective of the Operating System you are using …..

Unfortunately the poster of this tip failed to inform that Group Policy Editor “GPedit.Msc” isn’t available on Windows 7 or Vista Home Premium. But do not fret, fortunately I have found the means to access the Group Policy Editor. You can either go to http://www.thewindowsclub.com and search for the results yourself or you can copy and paste this this link”http://www.thewindowsclub.com/downloads/GPEI.zip” extract and run the app. to install the GPeditor. Then go to this link “http://www.thewindowsclub.com/downloads/gpedit1.zip” exract the file open the folder then open a new window and navigate to C:\Windows\System32 and drag the gpedit file “not the folder” the Microsoft Common Console Document file to the sytem32 folder and drop. Make sure not to combine it with an existing folder in system32. From there, go to start menu, type gpedit in the search all programs bar hit enter and voila Group Policy Editor. Works with 32 and 64 bit OS.
